Personal Information & Privacy

The details which you provide about yourself and any information which identifies you, such as your name, email address, country of residence and record of your contact preferences ("personal information") will be retained by us and used for operational purposes including, but not limited to: ensuring we can carry out our obligations in respect of any contracts entered into between you and us, for marketing list subscriptions, for market research (in which participation is entirely voluntary), for informing users about service availability or changes to our service and when retaining records of correspondence. We take every precaution to protect your information.  To this end all Personal Information stored by us is kept on servers in a secure environment. Only employees and approved contractors/developers/suppliers we may appoint from time to time and our partners, who need the information to perform a specific job and/or who are enabling us to fulfil our obligations, are granted access to personally identifiable information.  This may include the transfer and storage of your data at a destination outside the European Economic Area and/or the processing of your data by staff operating outside of the EEA who work for us or one of our partners or contractors/developers/suppliers.  By submitting your data and by using our site you consent to your information being processed and agree to this transfer, storage or processing.  We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.  You also agree that if the management of this website or of Baker Richards Consulting Ltd transfers to a third party we may also transfer your personal data or other personal data you have provided to us and any other information about you to such third party, provided such third party agrees to observe this policy.  Your personal data will not be disclosed to any other third parties unless required by law.  

We process personal information in accordance with the relevant legislation and you have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. You can exercise this right at any time by contacting us (details below).  You also have the right to access information held about you.  Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  Any access request will be subject to a fee of £10.00 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

We may also collect details about your visits to our sites including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, and the resources that you access.  We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information.  

Automatic Collection of Data

Cookies are messages given to an Internet browser by an Internet server. The browser then stores the message. Each time the browser requests a page from the server, this message is sent back. The contents of our websites, including any software, are protected by intellectual property rights and other related rights.  All such rights are reserved.

You are not permitted to link to or use all or any part of this website for any purpose that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation or for any purpose that is defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.  You are not permitted to transmit anything which, in the opinion of Baker Richards Consulting Ltd, harms our business or in any way offends other users or persons. 

You must not post onto, transmit or knowingly introduce to this website any material containing viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware, which is malicious or technologically harmful.  You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.  By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities.  Your right to use our site will cease immediately.

You also agree:

  • not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of this website without our express prior written permission;

Accessing our site

Regular security reviews are held by us to ensure that the site remains safe and secure for your protection.  Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Suspension and termination
